History comes to life in Maastricht University’s buildings. Many of the university’s teaching spaces, research facilities and offices are housed in remarkable buildings. How it works

At each of the 13 locations, you will find a sign next to the entrance with a QR code. Scan the code to learn more about the building’s history, architecture and significance while standing right in front of it.

Evert and Fons have designed a route that starts at Minderbroedersberg 4–6, but you are free to begin the tour at any of the participating locations. On this page, you will find all locations and a map to follow and to help you choose your starting point.

Practical information

The walking route is approximately 4 kilometres long. Without stopping, it takes around one hour to complete. The total duration will, of course, depend on your walking pace and how much time you spend at each location.
