Hans becomes part of a project group that, under the leadership of Wynand Wijnen, works on building the ‘Algemene Faculteit’: a breeding ground for innovative education that would later grow into the Facultyof Health Sciences. Over the next twenty years, he remains closely involved with the faculty, where he also completes his PhD in 1988. In the podcast, he reflects on these early years, a working visit to McMaster University in Canada, and the growth of the university. He concludes with a call for the field of Nursing Science.
