At FHML, the celebrations already began in 2024. That year, the very first medical students who started in 1974 came together with the four cohorts that followed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their start in Maastricht. These were the pioneers who dared to begin something new, even before a university formally existed. The reunion took place at Tongersestraat 53, the building where it all began 52 years ago. It was a special gathering, filled with shared memories, renewed connections and a shared look towards the future of healthcare.
