To mark the 50th anniversary of Maastricht University, Saurus is hosting an inclusive rowing workshop for residents of Maastricht and the surrounding region, students, UM staff, and local businesses. This event is designed to bring diverse groups together through sport, collaboration, and connection.

Participants can register as a team (such as a corporate team, student group, or staff group) or as individuals, in which case mixed teams will be formed. Guided by experienced Saurus rowers and coaches, participants will receive an introduction to rowing, followed by a group rowing session on the water. The focus is on teamwork and fun rather than competition.

The day begins at 3:00 PM with coffee, tea, and Limburgse vlaai. Afterward, everyone will have the opportunity to get out on the water. The event concludes with a social barbecue and drinks from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The event is open to those with no prior rowing experience.
