ETPathfinder Open Day — Listening to the Universe
Programme
How do you listen to the universe? How do you measure colliding stars billions of miles away? Dive with us into the science behind black holes, the distortion of the fabric of space itself, and the technology behind detecting these distortions. All of this is done from our beautiful South Limburg.
During this open day, you will have the opportunity to visit the ETpathfinder, the test setup of the future Einstein Telescope, to view. The programme includes the award-winning short film SpaceTime, with a team of scientists to answer your most pressing questions, Einstein's Dream interactive exhibition, a look at ETpathfinder technology, and a Meet & Greet with gravitational wave specialists.
