As part of Maastricht University's 50th anniversary, Saurus is organising a connecting rowing workshop for residents of Maastricht and the region, students, UM employees and local companies. During this day, we bring together various groups around sports, cooperation and encounters.

Participants register as a team (for example, as a business team, student or employee group) or individually, after which mixed teams are formed. Under the guidance of experienced Saurus rowers and coaches, participants receive an introduction to rowing, followed by a joint rowing session on the water. The emphasis is not on competition, but on cooperation and fun.

The day starts at 3 p.m., with a reception of coffee/tea and Limburg pie. After that, everyone present will have time to get out on the water. The day ends with a nice barbecue and drinks from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The event is accessible to people with no rowing experience.
