50 Hours of Celebration: Student Day
Programme
Friday 22 May, ‘50 Hours of Celebration’ will focus on the students of Maastricht University, who will come together to celebrate the university’s 50th anniversary. The Tapijn site will open at 2 pm, and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Throughout the day you can raise a glass together, enjoy music, and grab something tasty from the various foodtrucks. In the afternoon, the faculties will compete against each other in the Battle of the Faculties, centred around four themes:
1. Battle of the Fittest
2. Battle of the Minds
3. Battle of the Arts
4. Battle of the Bands
Be sure to drop by to cheer on your fellow students!
The day will be rounded off by none other than local hero John Tana, who will perform his best-known hits and get the party started.
About the event
Make a note of the date in your diary! In mid-April, all UM students will receive an email invitation containing a link to the ticket sales page. Tickets cost €5.00, including two drinks.
