On Friday 22 May, Tapijn will transform into the student festival of the year. To celebrate Maastricht University’s 50th anniversary, we’re marking this milestone together with you.

Wander past food trucks and bars with student-friendly prices, while DJs and live performances keep the vibe going. Looking for some action? In the afternoon, faculties will go head-to-head during the Battle of the Faculties, featuring challenges like Battle of the Fittest, Minds, Arts and Bands. Come cheer on your faculty or join in yourself!

In between, you can take the stage at karaoke, throw a mini party in the club camper with a DJ (ten people, four minutes, give it your all!),  play traditional Dutch games, or test yourself in the boulder box: a surprising mix of Twister and bouldering. The day will be rounded off by none other than local hero John Tana, who will be performing his greatest hits and getting the party started.
